February 2025 Favorite Photos

February 2025 is over and all I have to show for it are a bunch of photos of flowers!

Both of my orchids bloomed at the same time! 😍
Homemade French Onion soup, worth the labor!

I did some cooking this month. My husband usually does most of the cooking, but he broke his hand and will be a cast for another 6 weeks.🙄 I tackled a couple of recipes from my cooking bucket list, French Onion Soup from scratch was a labor of love and totally worth the 2 hours of stirring!

I also made one of my favorite Afghani dishes, Aushuk for the first time, it turned out amazing, sorry I didn’t take photos of that dish, next time! 😉

Sunrise (a rare sight for me!)

March will be interesting, I’m working on a huge project that will hopefully help me generate some income, fingers crossed everything works out and I can handle the physical work that it will require, more details on that later!😊

  1. Ouch! I cringed when I read about your husband’s broken hand. That’s terrible! Your photos are gorgeous as are your orchids but I think the winner is that French Onion Soup …. one of my favorites! That’s a lot of tears for a bowl of soup but so worth it. Hope hubby heals well!

    1. Thanks Jeff, I assume you are getting some rain this week too, perfect time for soup! I used a variety of onions this time, red, white, Vadalia, and even shallots, it gave it a really nice balanced flavor! 😉

  2. Best wishes with your upcoming project, artist Tiffany! You’ll do great and your February photos highlight abundant beauty and yummy! 🌺 My mom used to make French Onion Soup, but I never have. Yours is tempting me to try. Hope your husband’s healing is going well. Take care. 🍲

  3. Your photos are so beautiful! If you aren’t already selling them, you should. That would generate income too. I’m glad to hear you are working on a big project. Good luck! Hope your husband heals quickly. Great things are coming soon. Hang in there. All the best!

  4. Love the vibrant colors of your flowers!! Sorry to hear about your husband’s little accident, hope the time goes quickly for you both! When I had hip surgery I tried to teach my husband to cook… let’s just say that we ended up eating a lot of frozen meals. Lol

  5. Great photos, Tiffany, especially the first 2, plus the soup! Hope your spouse returns to the kitchen soon; my husband does most of our cooking, and it’s easy to get used to just showing up when he says it’s ready. (On the other hand, I wash all the dishes.)
