Remember the pool scene from The Graduate? That one always stuck with me. As a kid, I used to love swimming down to the bottom of the pool and I would stay down as long as I could. It was a safe place. A place to ponder life without all the noise and confusion, the pressures and conflicts. I could really use a nice, deep pool these days.

Ahaha! that is a GREAT movie. I loved the bottom of the pool, too. Also being under water in the tub, with the distant rounded echoes of the sounds in the house. Very comforting…. ^_^ I don’t bathe much anymore, I’d forgotten about that. (I would say I shower a lot, but “a lot” would be pushing the boundaries of reality haha!)
