“A Forest” is a 12″ x 12″ acrylic and watercolor painting on canvas. It looks like a dark, mysterious forest like setting where anything could happen! I didn’t intend on painting trees but they happened and they add to the depth and draw the eye towards the light.
I’ve been painting scenes with depth lately. It’s never intentional but I’m sure there’s a subconscious meaning there somewhere. It’s kind of like when I notice I’m painting buildings and cityscapes, I think it has to do with the lack of structure in my life. Sometimes you might think art doesn’t mean anything, but it always means something! 😉
A Forest, the song by The Cure, is one of my favorites, I hope you’ll enjoy a listen!

One of their best songs, I only liked their first 4 albums. 🖤

I once had their first album on vinyl with the original album cover of a lamp and two other pieces of furniture called three imaginary boys. The us version of that album was boys don’t cry with a slightly different track list, saw em live in ’93

Oh yeah, I collected all their vinyl, I remember that one! I had front row seats to see them in 1985, it was my 15th birthday, I was in awe!
