I struggled with completing this one for many months. When I first started this piece, I thought it was going to be an abstract version of a concert, the stage, the crowd, the lights.
But I got away from that when I found the astronaut image. I just didn’t know how to tie it all together. Not that it has to say anything, or mean anything, but I needed something else. Finally, a surfboard at the feet, and now he/she is cruising through the Astroplane in search of the next adventure!

Thanks, Judy! There are gobs of thick paint all over the canvas, the only parts that are collaged are the astronaut and the surfboard!
