Visiting Friends

I recently had the opportunity to visit a few of my favorite sold artworks in their forever home!

My dear family friends have three of my pieces, two of them greet visitors as soon as they enter their beautiful home. Actually, only one is a painting, Reptilian Rhapsody from 2018, and the smaller piece on the right is one of my photographs, from this series that I made limited prints of, they fit in perfectly next to their other treasured artworks!

The other painting, “Break on Through” looks amazing sitting on an easel in their enormous kitchen, don’t worry, it’s safe from any food-prepping areas!😉I’m negligent in getting a photo of that one, but here is a link to an old photo!

The event was a celebration of life for my best friend’s mother who recently passed. It was an emotional day, but it was a lovely celebration and it was wonderful to catch up with people I grew up with, but haven’t seen in years. It was a special day to remember a special lady who will be missed dearly, RIP Janice. 🦋

  1. I’m sorry to hear of your best friend’s mother passing, Tiffany ~ it sounds like the event was a very special tribute to Janice. While different circumstances would’ve been preferred, it is nice to be able to catch up with old friends, and to see your beautiful artworks on display! 🙏🏻

  2. So exciting to see your work where it lives!! They’re wonderful pieces! 👏👏👏👏👏 I esp ❤️ the painting – WOW!! You make that paint sing! …. Sad about your friend’s Mom, but I’m guessing the day was meaningful tribute to her. ((hugs))

  3. It always surprises and pleases me to see an old work hanging in someone else’s house, particularly when you have forgotten about it. It’s nice to feel that they value it enough to have it part of their lives. Makes it all worthwhile.
