More Desk-Top Art!

The first desk-top art pastels were so well received, I decided to create a series of these little mini canvases! Not everyone has a lot of space to display art, so I wanted to fill the void in a creative and fun way.

The entire series are handcrafted using a variety of materials, acrylics, collage, pressed flowers, and other found treasures! Look closely to find all kinds of surprises!

Each original piece is signed on the back so you can choose the angle you like best! Some look like completely different paintings when upside down, a whole different story.

    Amazing detail and variety within such small spaces, Tiffany! Marvelous! That signed back side, is it a seal across the back open back of the canvas depth (hope that makes sense, lol)? 😊

    Thank you Adan! So, on the back of the paintings, I glued a piece of construction paper to cover the “butt” of the canvas backing, it was just not attractive! Then I signed on the paper. It won’t last forever, but these are mostly for fun!

      It’s actually Modge Podge over the whole thing, I want to learn how to epoxy, that might be cool too? I have a huge collection of OLD stamps, rescued from my grandfathers storage garage 40 years ago, they are fascinating, but not worth anything, might as well!

    Beautiful. The real beauty of abstract painting lies in the fact that, even if a viewer cannot comprehend the message that the painter is trying to convey, they can use their imagination to relate their feelings and ideas to the painting.

      Thank you! Yes, you explained it perfectly. I think that is why art is universal, it goes beyond language and culture, everyone can have their own feelings and personal experience with it!
