The Laughing Tree

11” x 17” mixed media on paper

This intuitively created mixed media painting is full of energy and sure to uplift your mood! My artwork constantly surprises me, I love to discover what happens when I trust my intuition and let my creativity take over my conscious mind, it’s usually quite colorful!🎨

So, I kinda accidentally took the photo below, it’s the exact same painting, but I was in the bathroom with the red heat lamp on, (don’t ask)🤣. I just thought it was really cool how dramatically different it looks! It’s sort of like an x-ray and you can see its’ bones! 🦴😁

        My mugs arrived today btw. Love the designs but there’s nothing special about the mugs themselves. I’ll get a couple more in a few months and it’ll feel like a set!

                I suspectthese mugs will be reserved for “best”. My regular mug is just plain, but holds a pint of tea at a time. The volume is the most important thing for me.

          To be honest, she drinks from the shower tap, for like 5 minutes straight, so I turn the red light on to remind me to go turn off the water! It’s a system, she has me well trained! 🤣😻

    A laughing tree and a huge fox sitting on the right side listening. I can see the trees happy face. I think it must be a magic fox, because it looks like a cat in the red version.

      OMG! I love that you mentioned a fox!! Foxes have been my “spirit animal” for the last few months, I keep seeing them everywhere, every day!!! And, yes, now that you mention it, I see the magical fox next to the tree, how perfect!!!!🦊💕🙏😊

      I’ve had others ask me about a “new style” lately, and I honestly don’t know? It might simply be that I am playing with gouache lately, I love the brightness they contribute to my mixed media!
