So, I kinda accidentally took the photo below, it’s the exact same painting, but I was in the bathroom with the red heat lamp on, (don’t ask)ðĪĢ. I just thought it was really cool how dramatically different it looks! It’s sort of like an x-ray and you can see its’ bones! ðĶīð

My mugs arrived today btw. Love the designs but there’s nothing special about the mugs themselves. I’ll get a couple more in a few months and it’ll feel like a set!

I suspectthese mugs will be reserved for “best”. My regular mug is just plain, but holds a pint of tea at a time. The volume is the most important thing for me.

To be honest, she drinks from the shower tap, for like 5 minutes straight, so I turn the red light on to remind me to go turn off the water! It’s a system, she has me well trained! ðĪĢðŧ

A laughing tree and a huge fox sitting on the right side listening. I can see the trees happy face. I think it must be a magic fox, because it looks like a cat in the red version.

I’ve had others ask me about a “new style” lately, and I honestly don’t know? It might simply be that I am playing with gouache lately, I love the brightness they contribute to my mixed media!
