Missing Season

12″ x 16″ Acrylic on canvas

I am so excited to announce a collaboration with my dear friend and talented poet, Joni Caggiano!!!

Please take a few seconds to read her beautiful poetic response to my painting “Missing Season” at Joni’s site Rum & Robots! πŸ™πŸ’•

If you are not already familiar with Joni’s work, she writes beautiful deeply emotional poetry. Her work made a strong impact on me and we connected on many levels. That is why I was thrilled when she suggested this collaboration!

As for the painting, I used all acrylics this time. Many hours and many layers went into this one, I struggled to find the balance and right combinations. I’m finally satisfied and I think the eclectic colors, shapes and marks are just where they are supposed to be!
