The Other Side

12” x 9” Mixed media collage on paper

I love collages. I love color. I love texture. It’s no wonder I love this piece I call “The Other Side”. It’s a mix of acrylic, watercolor, magazine clippings, and alcohol ink all compiled on watercolor paper.

To me, I see a fence adorned with beautiful flowers, but still I wonder what lies on the other side? Is it more beautiful on the other side? Or maybe it is something dangerous and scary? Do you really want to find out?
