“Earth Off Target” is my Earth Day 2021 contribution. Unfortunately, I don’t think that our mother Earth is on the right path for long term survival.
Not to be negative, but I wonder if anyone else notices the face in the “world”? It appears to be screaming, scared, frightened. I am too.
Especially since Covid-19 made it’s ugly way into the world, people have been ignoring the simple practices of conservation, recycling and smart shopping. Just look at how many rubber gloves, facemasks and Clorox wipes (and the packaging) are filling up our landfills and running off into our streams and oceans. π
We can all contribute to saving what is left of our planet, to preserve and protect it from further unnecessary damage. There are so many small ways to help, and if each person just did a little bit, it will make a difference!
Do your part, today, and every day, let’s get the Earth back on target for a healthy future! πππ
This is a Speciality day

That is the biggest problem, that and just plain lazy people. Or, maybe it’s because they think the problem is too big, that there is no hope? IDK, but I’m doing as much as I can! π

“I donβt think that our mother Earth is on the right path for long term survival” I think our views on this differ slightly – mother Earth will survive, in one form or another, the question is: can we? and can we stop the relentless harm to all our co-tenants? Let’s hope that we can change the path humanity is taking…

You make a good point there, Graham. I believe humanity is doomed on its current path because of the damage we inflict on the earth, the oceans, the forests, the fracking, and everything else, and it’s all based on the greed of the wealthy. Little changes help, but a big change is imperative!

Agree. We should everyone do what we can, even if we feel it`s little.

Such a powerful image!!! Wow! πππππ And, yes, we do seem to be on the path that leads to nowhere good. I’m worried, too, that not only have we “lost” a year when we could’ve been doing a better job of making things better but that sooooo many people are now turning their backs on science. It’s very very scary. ((hugs)) π

Very creative piece and I couldnβt agree with your comment more. We generate one trash can of real trash in a year. Everything else is composted and recycled. We also catch rain water in barrels. We donβt wash our smart car. It is a lot of work but everyone has to care about our world. Good for you Tiffany- thank you for standing up for our planet. Love you sweetie. π€β€οΈJoni
