Every Summer these bugs start invading my garden, well, they are everywhere. They are not smart bugs, they must be blind, but somehow they always manage to find and get stuck in my hair. I am not a fan.
“June Bug” is composed of acrylic paint and alcohol ink, on 16″ x 20″ canvas.
I hope you are all enjoying the weekend, it’s sweltering hot in San Diego right now, stay cool and creative my friends!
I love this mixed media piece.

It’s great. Although, our June bugs are reds and browns.

Oh wow, I never thought they would be different colors! They are beautiful metallic green and blue, almost glittery around these parts!

Thanks! I do love the painting, just not the bugs, although I know people with paintings of bugs all over their house!

Yes 😀 I like it also because of the colours combo and pattern. Bug is a bonus 😉

Thank you, Vicki! It’s really difficult for me to stop at a few colors, I’m apt to add more and more, so that alone is a practice for me, but’s fun just to switch it up a little!
