One Eyed Jack

I just stumbled upon this painting, I kind of forgot about it, but when I saw the faint abstract image of the one-eyed jack-o lantern, given the season, I decided to share it!

If you know me, you know that I rarely paint intentional objects or images. I can’t sit down and paint something that is in my mind. It just doesn’t work that way for me. I sit down, wait for a color to come to me, and then I just start. Layers and layers later, I will know when it is done.

I can imagine One Eyed Jack as a Tim Burton type character, and this particular image could be like one of the Macy’s day parade balloons portraying this guy. You can even see all the little purple guys working to get him up in the air!

Okay, so if that isn’t what you see, what do you see? You know I love a good imagination!
