May 2026 Favorite Photos

May was a bit rough for me, lots of mom triggers, but I made it through. I took a lot of long walks, played in the garden, reflected on things that my mom passed on to me. She always kept a positive attitude through her many hardships, I need to hang onto that.

I arrived at work an hour early yesterday, so I walked around Balboa Park while it was quiet and took some nice photos. It’s a great place to explore. That funky alligator sculpture is an original by Niki de Saint Phalle.

Oliver is very, very animated!
Remy is always curious and adorable!
We watched this guy turn from a caterpillar to this butterfly in the lobby of my museum! ❤
I found this baby lizard in the house before the cats did!

Also in May, my husband and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary on the 29th! We are still in love and very blessed to have each other!😊 ❤ ⚭
