As a kid growing up in the ’80s, I was greatly influenced by the ‘New-Romantic’ music artists like Visage, Spandau Ballet, The Psychedelic Furs, and Soft Cell. This abstract acrylic painting totally reminds me of the music from those days!
I really like the soft, flowing lines, muted pastel colors, and dreamlike, mystical shapes. The overall effect is one of tranquility, and serenity, with a bit of nostalgia.

It did, for a few reasons. I looked at several but kept coming back to that one. You have an amazing and beautiful collection of work. It was hard to choose. Just means I need more than one. 😁

I love the colours and form. I’ve been a Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry fan since the 70s and this image would go well with many of their offerings.
