New Romantic

As a kid growing up in the ’80s, I was greatly influenced by the ‘New-Romantic’ music artists like Visage, Spandau Ballet, The Psychedelic Furs, and Soft Cell. This abstract acrylic painting totally reminds me of the music from those days!

I really like the soft, flowing lines, muted pastel colors, and dreamlike, mystical shapes. The overall effect is one of tranquility, and serenity, with a bit of nostalgia.

    Center right looks like a musician in a skinny tie, and the center reminds me of a table with human legs…like this is a long lost album cover ❤️
