I belong to a lot of art groups, across a lot of platforms. Some are for advice and learning, some for encouragement, some for inspiration, but I’m always interested in being involved with and supporting the art community! 😊
One of my favorite platforms for artists is Fine Art America. It’s a great site for artists and art buyers as well. I am a member of several Abstract and Mixed Media groups within FAA. They host contests and other ways to connect with the art community.
This week, one of my paintings was chosen to be featured in the ‘All Abstract Art Group’! Each week the moderator of the group, Linaji, chooses a selection of abstract paintings to be featured. I was thrilled to learn that she chose my painting, “Traversing” for the Gallery #33 contest called “Beauty in the Eye”! 😁
I’m working on a few new projects for the new year that I can’t wait to share with you! I have at least one more post ready to go, but I will likely take a few days off to celebrate Christmas and wrap up the year. Actually, I will be dog-sitting for some friends and I am looking forward to some canine love and new environment inspiration!
