I’ve been in the mood to collage lately. There is something therapeutic about cutting out pieces of paper and images and placing them strategically in balanced harmony with the others. There are so many places the eye can go, and perhaps find a surprise or two! If you look closely, you can find an image of the guitar built by Tim at Off Center and Not Even wrapped with my painting “Tumultuous“!
The title came to me because I am really missing seeing live music! With everything going on in the world, we NEED music. It’s the one thing that brings people together, instead, all I see is people being separated these days.
Many of my friends have lost their livelihoods because of the virus, musicians, ticket vendors, concert promoters, and everyone in the surrounding industries. I encourage everyone who can, please support the music scene, listen to podcasts and live streaming events, buy new albums and music on Bandcamp, or Spotify, or whatever platform you prefer, every little bit helps! 🙏🎼👍
