I am really happy with the outcome of this piece. It took a couple tries, I think it finally represents what I wanted, calming, soothing, depth, understanding, safe.
“Meditation” is the sixth of seven in this series that I have shared so far. If you are not familiar, I am doing a rainbow color series where I use all the shades of a particular color in my paint collection, in one painting. Here, I painted over an unfinished painting so you may notice little bits of blue and green peeking through the purple. I think it adds a nice contrast without taking away from my initial concept.
