Oranges to Oranges

16″ x 20″ Acrylic on canvas

This is one of my favorite paintings of the series, the orange hues!Β

It was an odd coincidence that I had exactly 11 shades of orange acrylic paint, that was also the number I had for the green painting, and the yellow, it was 12 for the blue, and 10 for purple. The good thing about this experiment is that I cleared out my paint bins and now I have room for more fresh paint! I just wish I had the funds to buy it! In due time, I tell myself, lol!

I’ve got a couple more from the series that I will show you this week, then the grand finale will be them all together! I’ve also been working on other new paintings that I’m anxious to share, stay tuned!

It reminds me of a kiln. Nice mix of oranges.

Thanks, Tim! I almost called it “Terracotta” which is along the same line of pottery, ceramics, etc.

I like the depth in your painting. It will be good to see all your colour studies together .

I can’t wait to see the series. Beautiful oranges. I bet paint is very expensive. Beautifully orchestrated mixture of colors in different hues. Love you Tiffany. ❀️❀️

Thank you, Joni! It’s true, quality paint can get very expensive, it’s no wonder some paintings are priced as they are!πŸ˜‰

Painting is expensive and I am guessing because of your style which often includes layering must get very expensive. Your work is really beautiful. Have an amazing and blessed Sabbath. Love y’all Joni β€οΈπŸ€—πŸ’•

Oh yes, the more layers the more it costs to create, that is for sure! I used to paint in oils but that is much more expensive than acrylic! Thank you for your love and support Joni!!πŸ₯°πŸ™πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•
