Morning Light

9″ x 12″ mixed media on paper

“Morning Light” is a combination of watercolor, acrylic paint, alcohol ink and pressed flowers and leaves. I added a couple dragonflies for a whimsical feel, I imagine them buzzing around a floral garden in the morning, enjoying the warming sun!

      I know, Mike, they are stashed away in every cabinet, every nook and cranny! That’s why I’m doing more on paper, takes less space, less expensive, and easier to sell!

    Saw this late last night & so glad I woke to it again this morning, Tiffany! Absolutely love the combinations of colors and soft textures, your added dragonfly textures, and all the amazing products your design/art fits onto – esp liked the duffle bag like carrying case! ❤️ Do you layer your watercolors onto your acrylic, mix them, both (depending)? Either way, gorgeous! Tweeted! 😊

      Thank you so much, Adan! I really like the way this one turned out. It started with a rainbow of watercolors, some stenciled flowers with acrylic, then I believe it is all alcohol ink, oh, and I did the dragonflies with ink pens, I didn’t mention that! I wonder if you have played with alcohol ink? If not you should try, so much fun!

        I haven’t tried alcohol ink yet! Black pen ink’s about all, but worth thinking ‘bout! Can see why you like it so much too, it works so seamlessly all over! 💕
