Dear Diary

I don’t write in a diary, I suppose I express my feelings through my art work instead. I used to write a lot, poetry, letters to family and friends, journaling, fictional stories and of course my old food blog. “Dear Diary” the painting, symbolizes the stories, upon stories, upon stories that could be told if I were to pick up a pen rather than a paintbrush!

Maybe it’s the June gloom, but I’ve been craving bright colors, happy and cheerful designs. To me, yellow is happy, so that is where I started, then added some bright gel stick colors and random acrylic and watercolor here and there. I also got to try out some new alcohol ink colors, it’s always fun to play with those!
