I sure got a lot of mileage from that blue grid image magazine cutting, it made its way into several paintings and mixed media projects. I think it was initially a photograph of solar panels. Here, it is layered with acrylic paint and gel pens, along with some pouring medium.
I’ve had a long fascination with dragons. I used to collect pewter dragon sculptures and had quite an impressive collection. The dragon that I see here represents an evil that is in the process of being slayed, and I hope that it is fully extinguished very soon.
