Shades of Optimism

I hope everyone is keeping their spirits up and you are staying productive and creative!

It’s been raining here lately, so I was inspired to break out the watercolors. I felt like doing something simple, soft, light and blue and violet have always symbolized peace and contentment to me.

I’m trying to distract my self from all the gloomy news and stay creative and in some kind of routine, so far I am doing pretty good, some days are better than others. Now that the husband has been laid off, we are both trying to give each some other space, so far, so good!

Success! You're on the list.

  1. This does feel peaceful. I love the dress but rarely wear them these days. 😉 I heard they raised unemployment somewhere, if they did in your area that should help a bit. Hang in there it may be a long bumpy ride back to normal.

    1. Thanks for the image of you wearing that dress, Mike, even though I don’t know what you look like, I can still conjure up an image! I am not eligible for UE, but the hubby should be getting something soon, and that stipend check will be helpful, for a minute. Staying frugal but optimistic!

    1. Thank you, Michelle! I am so glad that I love being home and there is no way I could ever get bored, there is always something creative I want to do! I’m finally breaking our old craft projects and supplies that I have been hoarding forever!
