I’d be willing to bet that most people in the world have at least some level of anxiety right now. Every email, every post I open, everyone is talking about the Corvid-19 outbreak and how it affects life as we knew it. The only thing we know for sure is that we are all in this together.
My husband was officially laid off from his job today, so right now, we have zero income. Hopefully he can get unemployment, like the millions of other people that can’t work. My only income comes from the occasional sold painting, and I’m pretty sure people are not going to buy art for a while.
But, art must go on! Thank goodness I could never get bored, I’m naturally a homebody, and getting lost in an art project is the healthiest way I know to spend my confinement. In addition to painting, I also dug out my polymer clay supplies, and I’ve been sewing and gardening, all things that keep me distracted and content!
Since I haven’t purchased any new art supplies for while, I’ve been painting over less than favorite paintings which is what we have here. This painting has had several “lives” but I think it has finally found it’s forever identity!
