This is what I suppose your breakfast might look like after experimenting with mind-altering psychedelics. I assure you, I am only using my imagination here!
If this looks vaguely familiar, it is the same painting I posted a few weeks ago when I was in a slump and struggled to finish anything. Well, I finally completed this one today. I couldn’t wait to get it cataloged, photographed, and then out of my face!
Don’t get me wrong, I love this painting, now. I am really digging the intense bold contrast, the bright colors over the softer under layers, nothing really makes sense, in a good way. It’s just that it took a LOT of time and mental anguish to get it here!
I hope you all enjoy the final version. The original and prints are for sale.
I think the effort was worth it. Looks great, Tiffany! But know exactly how you feel; it can be so wearing getting to “there.” Still, there’s a clarity of playfulness I really like 😊

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida baby! It looks like one could fall deep into one’s Fruit Loops gone wild. Prefect name.

Ah, love the Iron Butterfly reference, and “Fruit Loops gone wild”, haha! Thanks, Tim!

I’ve always liked Iron Butterfly. I don’t eat cereal, other than an occasional bowl of cornflakes. Fruit Loops was the most colorful cereal I could think of from when I was young.
