Crossroads.
cross·roads/ˈkrôsˌrōdz/ nounnoun: crossroads; plural noun: crossroads
- an intersection of two or more roads.
- a point at which a crucial decision must be made that will have far-reaching consequences.
I hinted in an earlier post that I am making some big changes in my life. Curious? I quit my day job!! I’ve been working there as a Program Manager for nine years. Ugh. It really feels like the right time to make the jump. I don’t have another job lined up. But with the support of my wonderful husband, and some time to clear my head and focus on my art business, I am ready to take my art business to the next level!
“And suddenly you know: It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.”
Meister Eckhart
I am trusting fate, and listening to my heart. I have so many thoughts and ideas and things to research, my head is spinning, in a good way! Have you ever made a drastic career move without a back up plan? I would love to hear your success story!
Congratulations!!! Isn’t it funny how the heart full of adventures and extraordinary passion waits for awhile, then says, “Let’s just do this!!!” So happy that you’re taking a leap of faith! Can’t wait to see more of your art!

Yay!!! Sometimes it’s a bit scary to trust your wings– love when the heart leads. Can’t go wrong with that!! Holler if you get a shop or start selling your work, I’d love to look and see what you have. Just what I’ve seen so far has such a great energy.

It’s country, it’s urban, it could be a topographical view of fields or city roads. It’s musical! It has a bit of blues, jazz, country and rock!
I like it!

We packed everything up and moved to Spain several years ago. The idea was to stay a year. We ended up staying four years. Sometimes you have to make the jump so you can spend the time needed to do marketing, contacting galleries and getting yourself out there. It’s hard work, and doubly hard if you have a day job.
I like the cubist feel to your Crossroads painting. You might want to look up the different versions of the song “Crossroads” or “Cross Roads Blues” from Robert Johnson, 1936 to Cream, 1968.

How inspiring Tim! I know that this change will lead me to new adventures and I am open to all of them! It’s liberating and so exciting to be able to focus on MY work for a change, I’ve always been a dedicated and hard worker, I can’t wait to see what I can do! Thanks for your support!

Dedication, hard work and the ability to deal with a lot of frustrations. will get you a long way in the art world. Especially the ability to deal with frustrations — but than that’s probably one of the main traits of a lot of successful people. I have friends who are full-time artists and I do not envy the amount of work they have to put in to staying in and on top of the art world. I admire your willingness to get out there and do it. I think you will be a smashing success.

It’s a wonderful, scary, exhilarating, rush into the unknown – even when you try and tip-toe 😊
With your hubby by your side, you’ve got half the battle.
Give yourself a little time, push a little, pause, rush when you see a clearing in the path, and let us know how it’ll go, Tiffany! With your work, I bet you’ve got a great chance 💕

Thank you so much for the encouragement Adan, you are right, my husband is my biggest supporter and fan! I learned long ago that life is short, we have to do everything we can, while we can, to make our souls happy!
