If you’ve been following my work, you will notice many of my paintings are named after songs or some musical influence. My musical tastes range widely, I like everything from punk to classical, reggae to rock! There is very little music I don’t enjoy.
This one was encouraged by my husband, he introduced me to jazz and in particular tenor saxophonist Hank Mobley. The album No Room For Squares was recorded in 1963, if you like jazz, I highly recommend this one!
I’m not familiar with Mobley’s “No Room for Squares”. I’ll have to look it up. I like jazz live, but I don’t listen to much recorded jazz. I really like the bubbly look of your rectangular painting that definitely has no room for squares. It’s really beautiful. It brings to mind a red hot bubble bath.

I hope you look it up and enjoy the album Timothy, it’s quite nice! Ooh, yes, a hot bubble bath, that is perfect!

Wonderful work, Tiffany! It reminds me of heat in the summer, rising in the distance from blacktop to create a mirage-effect of sorts.

I like the way you mix the verbal and the visual. Lots of ideas here for me to turn into words of my own!
