Ball of Confusion

“Ball of Confusion” 16″ x 20″ Spray and acrylic paint on canvas

I’ve always liked the song, some versions more than others. It always seems to be appropriate of the times, no matter what year it is or who is president. I guess some things really don’t change, only the particular circumstances.

Personally, I’m not often confused. Forgetful and indecisive yes, but not so much confused. I try to go with the flow and not stress about the things I can’t control or the things that don’t make sense to me. Life is short, I can only control me!

  1. Your painting is a super ball of confusion. I really like it. Do you remember “Super Balls”? The way they bounced all over the place caused a certain amount of confusion and havoc. I assume they are still available? I like Love and Rockets’ version of “Ball of Confusion”.

  2. Your painting is beautiful. The deep blue color and frantic motion reminds me of a school of fish swimming in a ball to evade predators. The title is very appropriate as dolphins herd fish into a frenzied ball of confusion to increase their chances of catching a meal. Great work!
