“Everything in its Right Place” 24″ x 24″ Acrylic on canvas
I often listen to Radiohead when I am painting. There is something about Tom Yorke’s voice and the music that almost puts me in a trance. Perfect background for painting something like this.
What music do you listen to while painting? What inspires you?
A fabulous abstract artwork, Tiffany!

This is great! Pardon while I steal a drop of your talent. I need to upgrade from my stick figure abilities.
In high school I drove back roads aimlessly listening to this exact song over and over and over. I know it’s on a different album but OK Computer was a huge part of my high school life. Sadly Radiohead didn’t give me any artistic talent though I’m sure I’ve written along with them a time or two.

Thank you! I’m glad you like it, I also had an OK Computer obsession for a while, hard not too. In Rainbows really hit a spot for me too. I wonder if you ever listen to one of my other favorite bands The National? Seems like you might like their music!

I think I’m the only indie rock person who doesn’t enjoy The National. I’ve tried many times and even saw them play a few songs at a festival but me no likey. They’re collaborators with Sufjan Stevens, who I love, but otherwise am not into anything they’ve done.

Ha! I’ve noticed they are a love em or hate em band! I think it was you that I learned about Calliope Musicals, they are awesome!
