At first glance I see an island or a continent, but I went with the title of “Heart of the Matter” because it does really resemble the shape of a human heart! Also, I like to think that my passion for art comes from my very core, and really, all of my paintings come from my heart.
Now, if you are a Eagles/Don Henley fan, you might recall their song of the same name, I believe the song is about a breakup, so I’m sticking with my interpretation!
I see an island, like you, but looking at it as a heart made me think of the song “You Done Tore My Heart Out and Stomped That Sucker Flat” by The Hometown Boyz. It’s a hillbilly type country tune. John Denver did a song called “You Done Stomped On My Heart”. All the songs are about a breakup, but Don Henley was more subtle about it.

LOL! I’ve not heard either of those songs before, I just might have to check them out! Always appreciate your comments Timothy!

I’ve only done a pour once, and it was a very small canvas, I’ve got to try a big one…yours is really cool, my first thought was South America!

Thank you for stopping by Jenna! Pours are really fun and it’s exciting to watch how they change, and I love how you can manipulate them! I highly encourage you to try it again, despite the mess, it’s totally worth it!
