I think this painting represents a tropical place, an exotic and intriguing locale designed to spark curiosity. And maybe initiate a thirst for tropical cocktail?
I’ve recently learned that there is an actual term for the scribbles that I often place in my paintings, I had no idea it was a thing called
Asemic writing!
Perhaps if I was a professionally trained artist I would have learned of this term years before, but I am not. I’m mostly self taught and learn by trial and error, oh, and You Tube, I get a lot of my “training” by watching technique examples on the good old internet!
This original painting is for sale, please inquire for price and details!
The painting is inviting, with lots of elements to explore. I have minor in art and this is the first I’ve heard of Asemic Writing.

Thank you so much Timothy, and I’m glad that I can pass on some new art knowledge to a veteran! I’ve been doing it for years but had no idea it had a name!

It’s a bonus when you find a technique you’ve been using has a name.

here Tiffany… wrap your mind around these 2: apophenia and pareidolia. “Apophenia is the spontaneous perception of connections and meaningfulness of unrelated phenomena. … Pareidolia is a type of illusion or misperception involving a vague or obscure stimulus being perceived as something clear and distinct.” I get more apophenia between title quote and work, and more pareidolia in the work itself. Cheers!
