The Party in the Park

September was tough for me. It was hot, humid, and uncomfortable. Work was stressful as we prepared for our annual gala, with long 10-12 hour days. I also had to hire and train three new staff members. I had a few accidents and fell a couple of times; the older I get, the harder I fall. I’m behind on housework, I miss my husband and cats, my yard is messy, and I’m exhausted. Despite the challenges, I made it! The gala was a success, I hired some good people, and I learned a lot. πŸ˜‰

Table setting before the drinkware, still pretty!

Found these at the end of the night, I would have left them too, cute, but comfortable??

There’s still plenty of colorful flowers!

I have a busy month ahead, but October is my favorite month. The weather will hopefully cool down, and it’s my birthday month! And with my new, motivated staff, I hope to catch up at work and tackle those projects that have been piling up.

Also, I’m using my new laptop, the old one was incredibly frustrating and would crash at the worst times. So far, everything is going well! πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘Œ

Time to pull out the box of bones!

Wishing you a happy, healthy and creative October! πŸ˜˜πŸŽƒπŸ₯§πŸŽ¨πŸ“Έ

Oh WOW!! You must be very proud of your work! These photos are incredible, Tiffany. Hard to choose a favorite but for me it has to be the purple and gold votive candles; gorgeous! I hope those aren’t your shoes; they are stunning but guaranteed to result in a broken something or other! I’m sorry to read about your falls and work load and missing home; hopefully now that the gala is behind you, you can take a much-needed rest, maybe have a nice little get-away. You deserve it! πŸ’œ

Sounds like you are meeting the challenges. Well done… and I understand about consternation in the face of all of this plus the whole β€œaging” thing!

Wonderful photos. Your kitties are adorable. Lost soles in silver, partied out. I love that spider.
