A lot of my paintings are created in just a few minutes, like this one. I usually start a painting with just a few random blobs of acrylic or watercolor, I give the page a spray of water, then I use a brush, a knife, an old credit card or just my fingers and I move it all around. That’s it. That’s how I paint. It’s exciting to see what it looks like in the end, they don’t always turn out great, but when they do, I share them with you, like this one. I hope you like it too!😊

That’s so interesting to learn about your process, Tiffany. It’s very creative and you let the art develop in its own way. This is similar to how I taught my pre-K classes to create. Just use everything and anything to make art. Their pieces were amazing because they didn’t worry about people’s reactions, having to stay in the lines or restricted by norms and expectations. We were completely free to create in their own way. And celebrated for that.

It may be simple, but if I tried that, I’d end up with an amorphous mess. You have worked out your techniques and how to put colours together, as this piece shows.
