And just like that, July is gone. It was a whirlwind for sure, and a hot one in San Diego. Between the new job and the heat, I’ve been overwhelmed.
My photos consist of more cars than cats or flowers this month; I’ve spent more time in the museum than out and about. I still have to decorate my new office, the blank walls are very uninspiring. I hope to have more to share in August!😊
Thanks Gigi, I don’t want to imagine life without these cats, they bring me joy no matter what is going on in the world!😽

Getting those creative ideas into practice is soothing.
With being overwhelmed…. Try to take one step at a time. Know with certainty what to focus on and recognize the distractions that are pulling you away from your focus.
When you begin to see what is taking your focus and peace away from you you won’t be as overwhelmed.

Thank you, yes, I need to work on focus, that has always been a challenge for me. I’ve added a few personal items to my office and it is starting to feel more comfortable, I will share some photos next month. I’m sure it’s hot and muggy in your part of the world too, stay cool my friend!😊

Well, at home my studio is my office, I spend most of my time here, on the computer and painting, which is why my computer is covered in paint! But at work, where I have a new office, I am slowly bringing in more artwork and favorite items to make it more personal, and comfortable. It’s also the only place I have AC, and that is very comforting lately!😉

Well I hope for you that both places will have air conditioning and soon.
BTW, rubbing alcohol ( 90% works great) will remove acrylic paint from just about any surface. That is if you have the time to rub it off of your computer.
