Wickedly Delightful

16/20” Mixed media on canvas

I’ve been working on this painting for weeks and I finally feel that it’s interesting enough to call complete.

It’s got a lot of layers, and many mediums, mostly acrylic. It’s also brimming with whimsical details and hints of magical stories! For all my writers friends, I would love to hear what you see, spin me a tale, will you? 😊

    My brain goes only one place…and the redemption is in that little cup at the bottom of the painting. I like this very much. Basically the raven says to the ogre, “I know it’s phuqued up, but here’s your coffee.”

    SO COOL!!! And beautiful! Wonderful energy!! (OK, here’s what I “saw” first: A large cricket decked out in her best dress – lots of colors! – next to a small, round table with a cup full of a mystery beverage sitting on on top. Who’s this cricket waiting for? I think I hear her leg tapping. Maybe she’s impatient? Hmmmm….🦗…🥰)
