Here is my collection of Favorite Photos from the month of April 2025. I tried to include a variety of images, you know I like photographing flowers, so there’s a lot of those, but you will also find some interesting things around our house, Santa Barbara, and Balboa Park, enjoy!
Below are some of my favorite photos from our Santa Barbara trip at the beginning of April. Those sculptures are my Aunts, they picked them up while traveling around Mexico years ago, I think they are fascinating!
These are a few photos taken at Balboa Park just down the road from our house! The Botanical Garden was closed for years for remodeling, it’s back open again!

that is very neat! i’ve fed squirrels for years wherever we lived; all kinds of seeds, plus walnuts too tough for my wife and I to eat, lol! 😊

Thanks Adan! Yes, the squirrel is Peanut, she is my best bud, we have breakfast together every morning! The license plates are part of the decor on the patio of my Airbnb! 😊

I’m taking an extended break from painting and time spent at the drafting table. Spending time learning about other things and helping a friend pack and move is has top priority now.

Thanks Michele! I have a table set up outside where I play and create random sculptures with random organic things, they change all the time, they are like my Legos! 😊

Thanks Jeff! Yeah, she is a real cute squirrel with a lot of personality! We are fortunate to have Balboa Park in our backyard, we take advantage of it often!😉

Yes! I was a little disappointed, they don’t have nearly the amount of plants as they did, but it is still pretty amazing!

I was only there once, and I didn’t think there were enough plants! It’s probably also because medicinal plants are my thing and they had a small collection.
