I’m sad to share that my mom, Sharon Arp-Boucher, passed away on Monday, December 9th. She was first diagnosed with dementia less than two years ago; sadly, she declined rapidly.
A loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt, she was an exceptional woman. She was a loving soul who never met a stranger, she always had a positive outlook on life, no matter what life challenged her with.
She was an incredibly talented artist, she loved going to her painting classes each week to perfect her craft and share her skills with others.

Sharon loved being involved with her community. She wanted to make the world a better place any way she could, she was often organizing fundraisers for events and charities. Her sorority sisters were extended family and a huge part of her life.
Mom loved animals, and camping, she loved watching her kids and grandkids’ soccer games. She designed and built many beautiful homes with my dad, she was an entrepreneur, and business owner. She loved to travel and took many cruises and trips around the world. In addition to painting, she loved reading, gardening, and dancing.

So many memories, and so many photos to sort and organize. A eulogy, how do you put 76 years of living into a single page? I have all her things to sort, I need to plan the memorial or service, I’m kind of spinning right now trying to wrap my head around it all. Mostly, I am just missing her. 😔
Just in case you were planning to attend my Holiday Art Popup event this weekend, it has been postponed.
