August was another hot and humid month for us, with zero rain. Thank goodness we are still blessed with beautiful flowers and fauna to enjoy!

When I am not scouring the job boards looking for a day job, you will find me working in the yard and taking walks around the neighborhood, I’m not complaining!

I have also had more time to play with some photography around the house.

Beautiful photos. I especially love the flowers with the old typewriter keys, the lizard, and, of course, Shady Grove blowing kisses.

Love those beautiful flowers in your garden! For the birthday card….did you draw out the shells or paint them onto the card stock?
I love making cards. Christmas cards are my favorite to make and you?
Hope you find work soon.

The seashell card is a photo I took and simply printed it on nice cardstock paper. I always make cards for the people I know will appreciate them!😉
Thanks so much, I hope you are enjoying a nice long weekend creating and staying cool!

You’re welcome.
Yes….I am enjoying the extended weekend. Got plans for painting flowers. I painted a rose yesterday. Don’t like how it turned out, so I’ll have to practice.
You know what’s funny Tiffany….I can draw flowers but have some difficulty painting them.

Nice! It’s my opinion that you can face your challenges and conquer them, or you can accept that isn’t your thing and keep looking for all the other things you are great at! I personally prefer not to draw and just paint! 😂

Thank you dear Michele! Yeah, I’m sure half my phone storage is taken by photos of Shady because ‘the light is just right’! 😂

Yay! I have always been impressed by the quality of those notebooks, that’s why I have at least 10, only 2 of my designs though!😉

These are truly gorgeous photographs. I LOVE the outdoor artwork on the tree. The colors in all of them are so pure and bold. Just beautiful. Your neighbor’s garden is wonderful. Great post and it made me feel happy. ❤️
