Holding the Sun

16/20” Mixed media on canvas

I can’t tell you how long I’ve been working to complete this painting. I got stuck months ago and finally finished it this week! Below you can see the progress over a few weeks before I got it just right.

It almost ended like this, but there was something off, not balanced.

This was right before the big change up several weeks ago, exciting!

Wishing you a lovely Valentine’s Day! I hope you have someone or something special to love! 🩷😽🌹

Stellar intuitive abstract artwork, Tiffany! Very nicely done, and it’s cool you’ve shared examples of the stages through which your work progressed. You rock, my dear friend & Happy Valentine’s Day πŸ˜™πŸŽ¨πŸŽΆπŸ‘

I’d be honored if that opportunity was available because I see so much in your work and possibilities and I envision the “Arpdaleo experience” in multi media and outlets

It always surprises me how small changes like a tonal shift or in this case a continuation of the flow into the vacant space can transfrom a piece and you stll have a few quiet passages so this addition doesnt create too much busyness and it also brings the eye back to the sun.

I can see the swirling mass holding the Sun but the Sun won’t be dimmed.
