Art Show!

It had been a long time since my last public showing, so last Saturday was really fun to say “I’m in the show!” at Ashton Galley for the “All Mixed Up” group show!

If you are in San Diego and want to visit the gallery, this exhibit will be on display until August 11th! Please stop by and see the amazing artwork at Ashton Gallery located at 4434 30th Street, San Diego, CA 92116.

I was overwhelmed by my friends that came out to support me, some old friends, some new, and some who traveled all the way from Korea!

      That’s right Tim! That was one of my favorite shows, especially since the piece was sold to a complete stranger, I still wonder who they were!

      Yes! An old friend of mine, and a fellow artist, from high school and his wife currently live in Korea, they were visiting family and decided to come to this show to see me since they were in town. It has been many years since we’ve seen each other so it was really cool!

      Thank you, Phil! It is always a privilege to be accepted into a juried show and so much fun to connect with other local artists! They get a good mix of visitors and make a lot of sales, so I’m always hopeful, but it’s more about the exposure!

          That’s funny you said that, I often threaten to do that due to an ongoing clicking sound in my ear, it drives me nuts! I wonder if that is what happened to Van Gogh???😂
