I took this photo of our neighbors old Chevy truck years ago, printed it on photo paper, then it sat in a folder for about 5 years. When I rediscovered it today, I remembered that I had some cool results with alcohol ink on photo paper. Alas, once again, some cool results!
Now I wished that I still had the original photo saved, it would be fun to do a series with different colors, but, it must have been only on my old deads computer’s hard drive. I have lots of other great photos that I can apply the same concept, this might get interesting!😉

I had a couple of 1958 Chevy trucks many years ago that looked similar to that truck. I never drove them on the levee, however. Beautiful painting came out of that photo.

Thanks, that’s cool, Tim! I think my dad would have liked this image, he was a Chevy guy, and he collected vintage cars/trucks, lots of them over the years.

I really like the fluid flow of alcohol inks, not much control, you just have to let it go! I haven’t used a mask, my space is open and they are not too pungent, but I do recommend using gloves!😉
