Infrared

9″ x 12″ Mixed media on watercolor paper

I can’t help but see this painting as an infrared image. From what I gather, an infrared camera shows the gradient of temperature of things/people in a photo or video, the warmer parts of the image will show up as red, orange, and then yellow and green as it gets cooler. I know it’s more complicated than that, radiation and stuff, but for this posts sake, that is enough!

I’ve had my share of radiation lately. Lot’s of tests and procedures, and I am STILL waiting for results. They told me a week, it’s been 12 days and now we are heading into a long holiday weekend, so I wait some more. 🙄

On a more positive note, today is my 11 year wedding anniversary!!! I am so blessed and thankful to be in love with my best friend, my biggest supporter and love of my life!!!❤🙏🥰💑💘

Our engagement photo from 2010! 🥰

  1. Happy Anniversary! Lovely photo of you two. That is a wonderful infrared painting in blue. Tests? I hope everything comes out negative with nothing serious. Today is our 39th anniversary.
