
That is the question! I stuck to watercolor and oil pastels only for this one. I decided to add the white flowers over the darker watercolor, the white actually stands out pretty good. This was done while I was away at a friends house and had limited art supplies on hand.
So, the “bee” in this painting looked really good at one point, then I over worked it and messed it up. It is difficult to stop fixing it, some times you have to let it be and remember, βThere is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.β The important thing is to try and try again, after all, βWe know what we are, but know not what we may be.’ Sorry, I’m trying to be cute and clever here, sometimes things seem better in my head than in reality! π

I loooove Bee’s!! I hope to have a couple of my own hives one day. I love this painting. I love the Bee and think you done awesome. I totally get over correcting, i do it ALL the time. I can not get a Bee down to save my life!!
