I’ve been busy working on my banner for the Arts-A-Thriveinn show! It’s taking more time than I expected, so I don’t have a lot of new artwork that I can share at the moment, but I have been playing with alcohol inks for some personal greeting cards I was making.
I just love experimenting with different alcohol ink colors, mediums and surfaces. I still think glossy photo paper is my favorite surface, and you can cut a regular 8 1/2 x 11 sheet into 4 pieces for small experiments. You will get different effects depending on how much isopropyl alcohol you use, and how you apply it.
One of the other things I love about these little alcohol ink paintings is they photograph really well! I love how they look on products in my Redbubble and Society6 platforms!

It’s the weirdest thing, I have sold a bunch of water bottles and travel mugs this week, I’m not complaining, and I thank those of you that can support my artistic endeavors! 🙏😊💕
