Strange Days

11″ x 14″ Mixed media on canvas panel

I’ve been feeling bright colors lately, as you can see. I got a bunch of these canvas panels to play with, not my preferred material, but they are fun to experiment and play on. Here I’ve combined several mediums, acrylic, alcohol ink, watercolor, and my favorite, mixed media gel sticks!

I’ve always loved the John Lennon song Nobody Told Me, it seems appropriate to place the video on this post, I hope you enjoy, stay strange everyone! 😘

    I love the bright colors and the broad strokes as well. Maybe I am strange but I see happiness in this piece. It makes me smile. Like a child’s play blocks. Really nice work. Perhaps also a roll of the dice as well. I can see that as well kind of going along with what Tim said. I love the way you explain the material used.
