I can’t remember the last time I painted a pure watercolor. Or a landscape. It is really difficult for me to stop with only one medium, but I actually really like this as is! For someone who has never taken a class on watercolors, I think it passes?
It totally reminds me of the drive to Joshua Tree National Park, or maybe it’s the view when leaving and heading West? Either way, desert, cactus, amazing sky, surrounded by majestic mountains, peace and quiet. My happy place!
Original painting is available for purchase on my Etsy site.
Have a great week everyone, stay creative, stay positive!

VERY well done, this speaks to my stormy mind and i find it a comfort. Reminds me of our Ladysmith, my late Dad’s home town.
Stay blessed and safe. 🌺 🌻 🤗

It makes me so happy to hear that, Kavitha, thank you! Art should evoke emotions, to bring you comfort is the best I could hope for!

As a fellow Artist, thank you for this. It just calms me. I do not know why but it is just serene. Thank you so much!

I’m so happy you like it, my friend! Most of my work is bold and anything but calming, but even I need serene sometimes!

I saw a lot of them. This one just calmed me. I work in a lot of Abstract and just all kinds of different types but mainly I use Acrylic. My journey in Art is all over the place! 🙂
