“Another World” mixed media painting has so many layers, it’s easy to get lost. There is watercolor, acrylic, alcohol ink, pressed paint, stencils, and pen ink. I think the overall look is now cohesive and I just love the little houses!
Those little houses may have been influenced by the sketches by Kim on his blog Placid Painting. I’ve been following his blog for a while now, he has a unique style of sketching little scenes in the countryside or in the mountains, they always make me smile! It works well, Tiffany – reminds me of Chagall – perhaps with the little houses with the big form.
