Another Photo Re-enactment

Haha! Every time I look at this photo I crack up! The one on the left is my husband, Mark, the photo on the right is the inspiration photo, I have no idea who he is, but I love his hair!

It took quite a bit of styling product and some serious heat to get Marks hair to stay up in a mohawk, but I did it, I had a lot of practice back in the 80’s. He wouldn’t let me pierce his ear or his nose, so that was a little challenging, the rest of the outfit was easy.

As you can see, we are making the best of our time, creativity and resources. After over a month of being cooped up in the house together, we are still on good terms! I hope you and yours are doing well, be safe my friends!

Success! You're on the list.

That’s an excellent likeness. I’ve heard they use egg whites to do mohawks and spiky doos.

Thanks, Tim, it was fun to do! Yes, we used to use egg whites to do liberty spikes and Mohawk, really messy, but it got the job done! We also used jello!

Thanks Adan! We are feeling well, staying home, and very alert and cautious! We are not running out to join the masses at the beaches and parks that will open on Monday, I think it needs more time. I hope more people start taking this seriously!

Sad they’re taking so many chances! Saw some of the beaches there already with lots of people. We’ll have to see what happens here in Texas too! Either way, we’re staying home too, only out to groceries, drug store etc 😊 Stay well young lady!

Spikey hair used to be held up with soap. Terrible stuff.

Oh my, I have used a lot of things to get hair to stay up, but not soap!!? I have used egg whites, jello, Aqua Net, cornstarch, and various gels! None of these things are actually healthy for your hair!

Yeah, this one came out really well. You husband has a good head of hair! Dude can rock a Mohawk. Ah, but can he do the Jackson Pollock?

Thanks Eric, he is very lucky to have the hair, and he knows it! I’m gonna have to look up some of Pollock’s images, I’m always up for a challenge!

It’s Pollock’s hair. He has none on top. Let’s see him pull THAT off!

Thanks, Francisco! Seeing how he grew up going to Catholic schools, I’m pretty sure this was his first mohawk, he liked it!
