The end of the world as we know it. A new world order is at hand. I hope you and your husband and kitty are doing the best that you can? Laurie’s teaching classes online. She works for a charter school and they started doing online classes a week after the schools were shut down. Most public schools are going to start experimenting with online classes on Monday, over a month after schools were shut down. Laurie’s school is way ahead of most schools. Since we are both working from home (I still have to go into the office a couple of times a week to maintain servers, swap backup drives, etc.) and both of us are doing video conferencing I had to upgrade our internet speed.

I have a lot of family and friends that are teachers and they all started using video and Zoom for teaching. We all have to adapt. I’m so glad that you and Laurie are able to keep working! My husband started receiving unemployment last week, that keeps food in the house, but we have cut out any and all non-essentials, still grateful for all we do have!

He was a restaurant manager, his place tried to do take out orders for a short while, but it wasn’t making enough to keep them going. I’d guess about a quarter of San Diego’s restaurants are still operating with just take out, but with limited staff. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

The last estimate I read on Albuquerque was at least 500 of them will not be able to reopen. It’s probably more now.

Great post Tiffany…and I think that you and Timothy Price are right…this will be the beginning of a new world order, let us hope it is better than the previous one and that people can come to value what has real value and not the vanities of life. Good morning Tiffany 😊 well, we cannot go out even to visit friends across the street, so we made the best of it at home and had a great time! Hope you did too.
